Micro Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (MESA) is a microsurgical technique used to retrieve sperm from the epididymis in men with obstructive azoospermia. In this condition, sperm production is normal, but blockages prevent sperm from being present in the ejaculate. MESA is highly effective for obtaining healthy sperm for use in IVF or ICSI treatments.

When is MESA Recommended?
